Existing Bike - Bike Fit
Dynamic bike fits performed on the clients existing bike will involve 1-1/2 to 2 hours of your time and result in measuring many aspects of bike fit (see diagrams below order box.) Among the recorded measurements will be pad-stack and pad-reach, total cockpit reach, saddle height to ground, handlebar height to ground and pad height to ground.
Adjustments to bike fits for existing bikes are often limited to factors such as costs of upgrades and frame geometry. That said, clients can often move into a more comfortable and aerodynamic position with a modicum of financial outlay. This can be accomplished by adjusting the stem length, stem stack, pedal length and a number of other adjustments, such as seat position and/or cleat position.
Upon completion of the fit session Ed provides clients with written bike measurements, stills from video shot during the session showing leg, shoulder and hip angles. Dynamic bike fits also includes an emailed PDF of the final fit form. Clients are able to supply this form to the shop of their choice when purchasing or replacing parts, such as saddles, stems, etc.
Follow up sessions to tweak fit parameters are charged at $75 per session.
